Summary

This page has statistics for the inspection of childcare in England since the introduction of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) on 1 September 2008. The next publication of these data will show Early Years inspection outcomes, actions and recommendations at the end of March 2010, and will be published on Thursday 29 April 2010.

The EYFS is the new regulatory and quality framework for the provision of learning, development and care for children between birth and the end of the academic year in which they turn five (0-5).

The publications are interactive excel spreadsheets that show figures at local authority, government office region and national level.
