Early years and childcare providers: information commitment to parents and carers

We want to give parents and carers as much information as possible about a provider registered with us on the Early Years Register and/or the Childcare Register – to help them decide when looking for someone to care for their children.

However, we do not publish information about providers where their details are confidential, such as women’s refuges.

We publish information about a provider on their page, which you can search for using the Find an early years and childcare inspection report page.

This information is available while the provider is operating; it also remains on our website for three years after the provider closes giving parents and carers a complete recent history of provision at a particular address or by a particular provider.
