Conditions of registration*

The registered person:

may provide short and long term placements for children and young people aged from birth to 21 years
may provide fostering placements for children aged from birth to 21 years with emotional or behavioural difficulties, learning difficulties and physical disabilities
must ensure that the area offices do not operate independently of the regional office in respect of the key activities of the fostering service

*Conditions are restrictions that Ofsted places on a registration. Providers must meet these conditions at all times they provide registered care, as well as other requirements for registration. It is an offence not to meet conditions unless the provider has a reasonable excuse. If there are no conditions displayed then Ofsted has not restricted the registration.
