History subject survey visits

To find out as much as we can about history for learners, we visit up to 60 schools each year on history subject survey visits.

We send each school we visit a feedback letter telling them our judgement on their overall effectiveness in history. The letter also tells the school how they are doing on pupils’ achievement, the quality of teaching, the quality of the curriculum, and leadership and management in history.
