Evaluation of pilot inspections for maintained schools

New inspection arrangements for maintained schools will be introduced in September 2009. A large-scale pilot programme took place in the autumn term 2008.
Today's publication provides an evaluation of the main findings, focusing on the main differences between the pilot and current section 5 practice.
