Ofsted gives evidence to the Education and Skills Select Committee

On Wednesday 9 November, Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools, David Bell, and other members of the Ofsted board gave evidence to the Education and Skills Select Committee - a cross-party group of MPs.
Among other issues discussed were Ofsted's annual report, the government's white paper on education and childcare bill, and the merger of the Adult Learning Inspectorate and part of the Commission for Social Care Inspection with Ofsted.
