This 2006 report airs the views of children and young people placed in boarding schools. They discuss what they enjoy about boarding school, such as being with friends, learning to live with people even if they did not like them, and receiving constant educational and personal support; as well as the disadvantages, such as missing their families, loss of privacy and missing their friends when they have to leave.
