In previous years, information about Ofsted has been included in the Departmental Report of the Department for Education and Skills and its predecessors. This Ofsted’s first full Departmental Report, covering the last 12 months and looking forward to the coming year. This report is a way of letting parliament and the public know what Ofsted has achieved and how it is contributing to raising of standards in education and childcare.
