A successful hard federation at Stockland Green School has driven school improvement by improving leadership at all levels, embedding good quality teaching and learning and raising standards. A personalised curriculum and some innovative and highly effective procedures for performance management have resulted in all staff sharing a corporate responsibility for school improvement. This is one of 12 case studies about the schools featured in the report ‘Getting to good’, published by Ofsted in September 2012.
