Details

On a freezing day the childminder works with the child to develop her speech through investigating together what happens when water freezes and thaws. The work is part of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and takes place initially outdoors. A few months later the child’s progress is reviewed through an indoor activity using the same theme.
