Identifying good practice: a survey of college provision in engineering and manufacturing technologies

This report presents factors which enable post-16 learners to make good progress in the sector subject area of engineering and manufacturing technologies. Between November 2006 and March 2007, inspectors visited 18 colleges where provision in engineering had been judged to be good or outstanding at their most recent inspection.

Examples of good practice are given and recommendations for further improvement are made.
