The Key Stage 3 Strategy: evaluation of the third year

The national strategy for Key Stage 3 is run by the Department for Education and Skills. The aim is to raise standards by improving teaching and learning, developing cross-curricular skills, such as literacy and numeracy, and helping pupils who enter Year 7 with attainment below level 4 in the National Curriculum to make faster progress.
