Ref: 573
The second National Voluntary Youth Organisations’ (NVYO) scheme began in April 1999 and ended in March 2002. Funding from the Department for Education and Skills for this period was £12 million, an increase of almost one third from the previous three-year scheme. NVYOs are required to operate on a national basis in England, either through a network of local branches or by providing specialist services to young people or other organisations.
