This page has statistics on the inspection of maintained schools in England. Each quarterly release comprises key findings, charts and tables in pdf format, charts and tables in Excel format, and the underlying data in Excel and comma separated values (.csv) format.

This page contains supporting statistics for the '(Un)satisfactory? Enhancing Life Chances By Improving ‘Satisfactory’ Schools' report by the Royal Society of Arts. The zip folder contains one Excel file with summary tables on the most recent and previous inspection outcomes for open secondary schools as at 8 April 2011.

This page also contains management information. These figures are not official statistics, they are internal management information published in the interests of transparency.

These figures have not been reconciled centrally with any Official Statistics. Where differences appear between the monthly information and Official Statistics, clarifying comments will be provided. The zip folder contains a Word file and a pdf file with management information on the outcomes for schools inspected since 1 January 2012, under the Education Act 2011.

The timetable for future releases of official statistics about maintained schools inspections and outcomes is in the Schedule for the release of official statistics.
