Remodelling the school workforce

This report provides evidence of the progress made in implementing phases 1 and 2 of the National Workforce Agreement, put into place in January 2003 with the publication of Raising standards and tackling workload: a national agreement. Following on from an Ofsted survey published in December 2004, it is based on inspection visits conducted between September 2004 and April 2005 to a range of schools of different age groups, including special schools, and in a variety of locations from rural to inner city.
