Single equality scheme consultation - Stage two

18 Dec 2009 Ofsted

Ref: 090308

The consultation is now closed.

Ofsted is preparing its first single equality scheme to replace its existing three separate schemes (disability equality, race equality, gender equality).

This is the second stage of the consultation, the first stage identified the priority equality objectives which have shaped the scheme so far.

Your responses to this consultation will help us to define not only our equality priorities but also the key activities for achieving our priorities. Our single equality scheme will be published, along with a detailed action plan, in April 2010.

We ask for feedback in particular on:

  • our approach to embedding equality

  • our equality priorities

  • our planned activities.
