Small schools: how well are they doing?

01 Jan 2000 Ofsted

Following the completion of the four-year cycle of Ofsted inspections, we have the benefit of data from the inspection of every primary school in the country. We also have access to National Curriculum test results in the core subjects at both key stages over a similar period. This data, at long last, allows us to compare the achievements and quality of education of small schools with larger schools.
